One Ear is always looking for new artist and ideas for monthly themes that interest others. Currently we are getting ready for the first Exhibition second in September of 2008 (or sooner), here on the site. Right now we are excepting artwork.

SUBMITTING ARTWORKS
In order to give credit to any artist and the work, all submissions require the following to be displayed on One Ear Gallery:

Name
Medium Used
Title of Work
**Brief description of the artwork.
At least 1000 pixels wide per image- or email us with questions.

Please email to all artwork(s) and suggestions of Monthly themes are welcomed at: Artworks@theoneeargallery.com

**NOTICE: This is optional unless the theme requires a story or explanation of the artwork, you will be notified if that is needed via email.

PLAGERIZED ARTWORK
Because this is an internet gallery, it is very important that any artwork being recognized in this gallery be the true work of the artist submitting the piece. If any artwork is found to be plagiarized, then that piece will be removed from site while investigation into the true identity of the artist happens.

Once the true artist is located, One Ear Gallery will display the work with the correct artist and an apology as it is important to give the real artist credit of their piece. The person that deemed the work to be theirs, when in fact it is not, will be banned from ever showcasing their artwork in One Ear Gallery.

FAQs of Submitting artwork
We noticed quite a few questions have been popping up so we thought we clear up the most common questions:

Will my artwork be published outside of the web?
All artworks will not be published outside of the web site- One Ear Gallery WILL not print any artwork without your permission and nor do we use your works to advertise / promote the Gallery. If you send us your artwork you are only giving One Ear Gallery permission to share in the internet gallery & eNewsletter -
You worked hard - you get all the credit!*
Can I sell my artwork?
Sure you can - Send the price list and One Ear Gallery will state that on the artwork and will have any interested buyer directly email the artist. If you sell your artwork let us know that it sold so that we can make the correct changes as needed for 'one of' artworks.
Does the gallery take a cut of the sale?
One Ear Gallery will not take a cut of the sale.

It is One Ear Gallery's goal to build a Community Art Center and Gallery in the future that the community of artist feel comfortable in sharing their artwork without all the fees that are added on just to show your work. Since One Ear Gallery is not taking a 'cut' of the transaction, One Ear Gallery is not responsible for anything related to the selling of artworks. All Artists & Buyers must communicate with each other and leave One Ear Gallery out of it.

*If One Ear gallery decides to have artwork printed (i.e. postcards) - One Ear Gallery will contact the Artist to obtain a written permission to use their artwork on the print job for the ONE TIME PRINT Jo. and will be notified of all details relating to the actual print job.
